Jonathan Hopkinson serves as Lead Business Diplomat with the Open ROADS Community. Jonathan’s focus is the development of best practices to support enterprise digital transformation, with emphasis on using data analytics and the power of digital techniques to drive customer experience, brand development and operational excellence to deliver business value.
Formerly Global Head of GSM/UMTS Development at Motorola, Jonathan has 30 years’ experience in wireless communication with leadership roles in R&D, service development and customer care. He holds over 10 granted patents and is a certified NPS practitioner.
Damien DujacquierSenior Partner, Head of TMT Southeast Asia, Roland Berger
Damien is a Senior Partner at Roland Berger. Based in Singapore, he covers markets in South-East sia, including nascent but prominent ones such as Myanmar and Indonesia.
He has extensive experience in the telecommunications, media and technology industries. He has recognized expertise in strategic planning, growth and entry strategies, sales performance, organizational redesign as well as private equity. In his capacity at Roland Berger, he has advised fixed and mobile operators, regulators and governments.
Prior to joining Roland Berger in 2000, he spent three years at Orange.
Damien has a Master of Science from Télécom Paris Tech.
Trevor CheungManaging Director of Ecosystems, Group Technology and Operations - DBS
Trevor has recently joined DBS bank in Singapore as Managing Director of Ecosystems, Group Technology and Operations. Trevor is responsible for ecosystems technology strategy and solutioning, bank-wide API platform and institutional banking digital channel assets. This follows over 20 years experience in business and technology leadership, specialising in providing thought leadership and creation of best practices.
Firmly believing that engineering must be led by the needs of the business, he has adopted a broad focus, including Technology Transformation, Digital Transformation, Customer Experience Management, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Architecture, Platform Business Strategy, Agile and Design Thinking.

Dr. Joe PeppardPrincipal Research Scientist - MIT CISR
Dr. Joe Peppard is Principal Research Scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT’s) Center for Information Systems Research (CISR). He researches, teaches, and consults in the domains of IT leadership; digital strategy and innovation; the execution of digital transformation programs; the creation of value from IT investments; and the role, structure, and capabilities of the IT unit in contemporary organizations.
His research investigates contemporary issues and challenges that managers face in a world of accelerating technological change and he seeks to help business and IT leaders navigate an appropriate route through what is an increasingly complex landscape.
David WuPrincipal Consultant - Huawei
David Wu is a cross-domain consultant at Huawei HQ in China. He specialises in supporting operators in strategic projects, delivering many CxO workshops with leadig global operators. His wide expertise spans mobile broadband, fixed network, and video technologies, as well as business case and policy development. He has conducted high-level dialogues with global government officials on ICT trends and national policies.
He is now focused on delivering practical digital transformation as a leading member of Huawei's Digital Transformation Practice Center (DTPC).
Jerry SmithPrincipal Consultant, Digital Transformation, Ogilvy Consulting
Jerry has been at the forefront of some of the biggest changes in marketing in recent times. A pioneer in Internet Marketing, he consulted to many leading organizations in the 90s who were building the internet.
Jerry joined Ogilvy Asia Pacific in 2000 to help develop the OgilvyOne network and is currently Chief Operations Officer. He also has global responsibilities in Digital Transformation for Ogilvy Consulting.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Designers, a Member of the CMO Council and an Advisory Board Member of the Open ROADS Community.
Simon LiangGM CEM Solutions - Huawei
Simon Liang is General Manager of Huawei CEM solutions. A leader within Huawei’s Global Technical Services business, he is responsible for the research and development of AI-based solutions to support network planning and optimisation, service operations, and customer experience and engagement. His aim is to employ the latest digital techniques to simplify the demands on network operators while delivering unprecedented levels of customer experience to their business clients and consumers.
Prior to moving into R&D, he held a number of operational leadership roles in Europe, delivering engineering services to Huawei’s regional customers.
He holds a Bachelor Degree of Communications Engineering from Xidian University in Xi’an China.
Xiao RanHead of Innovation - ThoughtWorks
Xiao Ran is a technologist and digital transformation advisor, with over 10 years experience in helping large enterprises build technology capabilities. As the innovation director in ThoughtWorks, Xiao Ran is working with many masterminds globally to help partners realize their digital potential through setting up aspiration goals with a holistic view. Xiao Ran is also an author of several books in the digital and technology domains.
Ibrahim HanVice President, Solution Consulting & Service Integration - Huawei
With over twenty years of experience in telecoms, Ibrahim Han has a track record of success in Telco Digital Transformation across several regions. Currently, Ibrahim is Huawei Southern Pacific Digital Transformation Project Director, working closely with telecom operators and 3rd parties to create a new model of ecosystem cooperation via digitization.
Prior to this he held several senior management positions in the Middle East and Asia helping operators automate their deployment processes, while more recently supporting the digital transformation of a major Asia operator, helping them digitize their B2B E2E processes and significantly shortening TTM.
